Sentinel Blue

Sentinel Blue, a cybersecurity firm serving government and defense industrial base clients, needed to modernize its brand and website while retaining its existing logo. As lead designer and project manager, I partnered with Brevity & Wit and developer Digital by Jess to evolve the visual identity and create a more effective, conversion-focused digital experience.

The refresh focused on refining—not reinventing—the brand. We updated the logo gradient, refreshed the color palette, and refined typography to feel more modern while maintaining the brand’s sense of reliability and precision. SPGR developed a comprehensive brand guide aligned with Section 508 accessibility standards, and built out a full suite of assets including sub-branded service logos, custom illustrations, iconography, and templated collateral. SPGR also led the website design, ensuring a clear, streamlined UX tailored to high-stakes audiences.

The results reflect a stronger, more engaging brand presence. Organic search now drives 46% of website traffic, engagement rates have reached 45.7%, and key service pages are attracting significant attention. Social media growth and engagement also saw an immediate lift following launch. SPGR continues to support Sentinel Blue as their brand evolves and expands.

“I appreciate that I can relay a fairly loose concept for what I want to see, and Sophie does a great job of understanding and translating into something real. As someone who is very much missing the gene that can turn a concept in the head into art on the page, it’s a wonderful thing that you all do. I appreciate that you took the time to understand the vibe we’re trying to create, and how all of your efforts seem to have a throughline that can be tied back to our core brand. It has resulted in a very strong brand that our team is proud of, that our employees love to represent, and that our community/clients respect.”
